Tools Needed to Make Shakeology Brownies
You are in luck that you do not need a lot of fancy tools or gadgets to make Shakeology Brownies. Just a few items that you most likely already have around the house!
- Ingredients (listed below in the recipe card)
- Medium Size Mixing Bowl
- Mixing Spatula
That’s not too much, right??

Why Are Shakeology Brownies Healthier?
First and foremost, Shakeology provides so many things the body needs including proteins, vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and antioxidants so you can feel full, satisfied and just feel GOOD. Shakeology brownies have all of these benefits without any of the added sugar or artificial ingredients found in other chocolate brownies.
In addition to that, you have the powerhouse of cacao which contains even more antioxidants and vital minerals as well as lots of fiber and protein. Cacao has been shown to improve cognitive function and supports both the immune system and cardiovascular system. Did you also know that cacao can help you sleep better, feel better, and perform better?[1] Cacao is simply amazing!
How to Make Shakeology Brownies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Add Shakeology (or protein powder), almond flour, cacao, chopped chocolate, baking powder and sea salt to a small bowl and mix well.

Add honey, melted coconut oil, melted butter and almond milk and continue mixing. Don’t overmix.
Shape into a square using the corner of a baking dish. Or use a ramekin if you don’t care about the shape. Don’t make them too thin.

Bake for 15-17 minutes and then remove from oven to allow it to finish baking on the counter. That is the key to maintaining moist brownies. If you wait until you think they are totally done then they will end up being overdone and often crumbly.
Cut in half and serve! Trust me – this is TOO MUCH for a single serving. So rich and filling!

Shakeology Brownies Toppings
Shakeology brownies are easy to make and can be enjoyed as a treat for any occasion. You can top them with your favorite healthy toppings and here is where you can get creative. Some of my favorite brownie toppings are:
- Nut butter
- Homemade whipped cream
- Cookie dough ice cream
- Chocolate ice cream
- Nuts and seeds
- Fresh fruit
Those are just a few! Get creative and have some fun.
How to Store Shakeology Brownies
I seriously doubt you will need to store this Shakeology Brownie, because either you will eat it all yourself or share it with your buddy. But, on the off chance that you actually do need to store it, simply put it in an airtight container and store it in the fridge!

What If My Brownies Are Dry?
This is a common complaint with brownies. Here are the top 2 things to try if your Shakeology brownies (or any brownies for that matter) turn out dry.
Add more liquid
The batter for these specific brownies should not be runny. It should hold its shape while still appearing “wet”. Adding just another tablespoon or two of almond milk makes a big difference. So if you find they are dry, increase the amount of almond milk in the next batter!
Decrease baking time
Another huge issue with dry or cracked brownies is cooking them for too long. For many brownies, you take them out just before you think they are done and allow them to continue baking on the counter. This is truly the secret for moist brownies!
