Sweet Heat BBQ Ribs
One thing we love to do in the summer is barbeque! My kiddos devour ribs without even chewing them it seems.
Summer is upon us (or at least it is as I write this) and so starts RIBS season.
We eat all kinds of ribs. Pork ribs are probably my favorite.
Now, what I can’t tell you is whether I like the dry rub or a sauce better. I think they each have their own time and place. As well as their own place on the taste buds!
For these ribs, we chose a dry rub. Way fewer napkins that way, too!

How do I cook ribs?
As we talked about, there are a TON of ways to make them. I think my favorite way is to slow cook them on the Traeger. BUT, we were out of pellets so we made them the second best way and that is slowly in the oven.
Lining a baking sheet with aluminum is very important. Unless you have baking sheets dedicated to ribs and you LOVE a difficult cleanup, then certainly skip this step!
But for the rest of us, line the baking sheet. In fact, DOUBLE line it!
Then, generously sprinkle the sweet heat spice on these delicious keto ribs.
And then sit back and let the magic happen!
We baked them for about 3 hours on 280 and they turned out perfect.
The meat just fell off the bone and the flavor was spot on!
Are there carbs in ribs?
NO! Woop woop! You get some fat and protein without the carbs!
What can I eat with sweet heat BBQ ribs?
ANYTHING!

Enjoy these delicious ribs whether it is summer OR winter!
