Keto Spinach And Artichoke Dip
Spinach and artichoke dip is one of those rare dishes that everyone seems to love.
And this recipe is no exception! This Keto spinach and artichoke dip is irresistibly creamy, gloriously cheesy, and has just the right amount of flavor kick from the garlic, spinach, and artichoke. Plus it has the perfect ratio of cheese to spinach. What’s not to love?!
I especially appreciate how easy this dish is to make. Just melt the cheeses with the cream, add the remaining ingredients, and simmer for 10 minutes. THAT’S IT!
Given the delicious ingredient list, this dip is going to be pretty tasty no matter what. However, I do want to mention that I HIGHLY recommend using the Lemon Pepper.
I’ve marked it as optional because not everyone has this ingredient on hand. But in my opinion, it really makes the flavor pop! Definitely worth picking up the next time you’re out shopping.
Is Spinach Keto Friendly?
Yes, yes, and in case you’re still wondering, yes.
If you’ve been following me for a little while, you know that I take vegetables very seriously. Sure, we Ketoers love our bacon and our butter… but if you’ve been skipping the veggies in the name of low carb eating, then we need to be having a whole different conversation.
Lowering your carbs is not a reason to avoid nutrient-dense, amazing vegetables. They are an important source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber, plus they may reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer!
To learn more about why I believe vegetables are an integral part of any Keto diet, check out my article Keto and Veggies. And I’ll end my veggie rant there… for now.
So back to the original question. Yes, spinach is Keto friendly! This dark, leafy green is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin K, plus an entire cup of raw spinach is only 1 net carb.
And what better way to sneak some spinach into your diet than mixed in with glorious melted cheese? Sounds like a win-win to me.
Wondering if artichoke hearts are Keto friendly as well? The answer, you may have guessed, is also yes!
This recipe calls for 1 cup of artichoke hearts, which has around 8 net carbs. That equates to about half a net carb per serving from artichoke hearts.
What Should You Dip Into Keto Spinach Dip?
Anything. Everything. Whatever is closest.
Okay, if you’re trying to be a little more civilized than eating this dip right off a spoon, then don’t worry. I have some great suggestions for you.
In fact, this low carb spinach dip goes PERFECTLY with my Keto Flatbread recipe! Seriously, that combination is a match made in heaven. I also highly recommend my Dairy Free Crispy Keto Chips for scooping this cheesy delight.
You could even keep it simple and serve this dip with pork rinds or celery for dipping. You truly can’t go wrong!
How Long Is Keto Spinach Dip Good For?
Keto spinach and artichoke dip will stay good for 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
Just be sure that it is stored in an airtight container!
How to Keep Keto Spinach Dip Warm
Here’s what I do! I make the dip and then transfer it to a mini crockpot or a dip warmer and then keep it on low.
Give it a good stir on occasion, but this will keep your dip nice and warm and dippable!
How To Make Keto Spinach And Artichoke Dip
In a large saucepan, add the heavy whipping cream, parmesan cheese, 4 cheese blend, cream cheese, and minced garlic.
