At the time of writing this, we are headed into summer! Spring and summer are my favorite times of the year. Not just because of the weather, but because I get to make so many more of these cold keto style drinks and not shiver while I drink them.
This snickerdoodle and caramel keto macchiato drink is so easy to make that it just might become your morning (or afternoon) favorite.
Get creative with the toppings and you’ll have a new look and feel each time you make it.
How to Make Snickerdoodle Low Carb Macchiato
Are you ready for how absolutely simple this low carb macchiato? Awesome – let’s get to it!
The first thing you want to do is to brew the espresso as you normally would and let it cool.
Then you will want to add the almond milk, vanilla syrup, cinnamon and brown sugar substitute to a blender or food processor. Blend until combined well and frothy.
Add ice to your serving glass Add the almond milk mixture to the ice, followed by the espresso.
Finally, add whipped cream and caramel sauce.
And then SERVE and ENJOY immediately!
Is an Iced Macchiato Keto Friendly?
You bet it is! Coming it at a low 2g of net carbohydrates, this is a perfectly keto friendly drink to enjoy.
What to Serve With a Keto Caramel Macchiato
While this is a caffeinated coffee drink, one might think it is reserved for mornings. I beg to disagree with that! This is an all day and all year type of drink. Especially in the summer, this can get you through that afternoon slump and also cool you off!
As far as what to serve with it, I think these keto shortbread cookies are simply the best. If you want to keep the snickerdoodle theme going, then for sure choose these keto snickerdoodle cookies. Now, if you want to have some fun, then make some of these keto glazed donuts and dip them in!

This keto caramel and snickerdoodle macchiato calls for whipped cream and caramel as the toppings. You can either buy sugar free versions of those or you can make them yourself. I happen to have a recipe for homemade whipped cream as well as keto caramel sauce!
Now, if you want some other topping ideas, I got ya covered there too.
Any sort of flavored sauce is going to taste amazing. I am partial to caramel, but a delicious sugar free chocolate sauce would also taste wonderful. I’m not going to lie…. I’ve considered mixing in some keto lemon curd sauce as well.
Flavored whipped cream would also be a yummy choice!
