Keto No Bake Graham Cracker And Toasted Pecan Pie Crust

No Bake Graham Cracker and Toasted Pecan Pie Crust

I set out to make a keto key lime pie for my monthly membership folks, and I really wanted a no bake crust.

I knew that I could use my regular keto graham cracker pie crust, but I wanted to add a little flare to it.  So I decided to crush up some pecans and toast them (of course)!  You are already toasting the almond flour, so you might as well toast the pecans as well!

It added to perfect amount of flavor that I was looking for and works really well with the toasted almond flour.

This is a no bake crust, of course, but you most certainly CAN bake it if you want.  I would suggest 350 for 8-10 minutes and that should do it!  But you don’t have to as it will solidify just perfectly without baking.

What is unique about this crust?

Graham Cracker crusts are so yummy and definitely something that keto recipes creators try to emulate.

There are several variations, but what makes MY variations unique is the use of toasted almond flour.   And then with this recipe, I also add in toasted pecan “flour” as well.  Man, did that up it a notch!

Make sure you toast the pecans AFTER crushing them!

Yes!  And in fact, I recommend it!  Crush the pecans and combine with almond flour and start toasting!

Do i need to use powdered sweetener?

You don’t have to, but it really helps to make this crust smooth.  You definitely don’t need to buy it, however, as it is really easy to make yourself.
