Keto Dairy-free Graham Cracker Pie Crust
My husband got news the other day that he needs to be dairy-free. I mean, duh, the poor guy knows he’s lactose intolerant but loves his cheese and creamer. I guess it just took a doctor telling him in order for him to take the plunge.
He was very disappointed, however, that he can’t have all my wonderful keto desserts. SO… what’s a wife to do? Well, I created a dairy-free graham cracker pie crust (since my graham cracker crust was his favorite). I even tried to make a dairy-free coconut cream pie with the crust.
The crust was AMAZING. The pie was mediocre. I had never made a dairy-free dessert like that, so I need to perfect a few things and then I’ll release the recipe.
But for now – here is a very tasty keto dairy-free graham cracker pie crust.
Truthfully, you probably don’t even need to bake this if you don’t want. I baked it just to provide a smidge extra crunch, but it could go either way!
Kitchen Essentials
A beautiful pie pan of course! I like the hefty pie pans. I have several and I used one like this one for this recipe! Other than that, you should be good to go with what is already in your kitchen!
Sweeteners
I chose to use erythritol and liquid stevia. As I always say, these balance each other out beautifully. If you want to substitute Lakanto monk fruit for the erythritol, you can do so.
Dairy Replacement
Instead of using butter, I used a combination of coconut butter and coconut oil. Both together, in the right proportions can be a beautiful dairy replacement in certain recipes.
Coconut butter can be found at stores like Whole Foods. If you don’t have one around you, Amazon is another good option. I mean, they own Whole Foods, right?

Pro Tips
Be careful when melting the coconut butter. If you try to melt it too fast in the microwave, you will end up burning it. A slow, gentle melting is always good! Stir often.
It will not melt like coconut oil does. It will be thicker and softer but will not be an easily pourable liquid like coconut oil when melted.
