How to Store Leftover Thyme Roasted Chicken with Lemon and Honey
If you have leftover Thyme Roasted Chicken, be sure and refrigerate it within 2 hours of it sitting out at room temperature.
Place the leftover chicken in an airtight container in the fridge. Be sure to label the container with the contents and date and be sure and consume within 3-4 days.

Tips for Making This Thyme Roasted Chicken
Here are some good tips to ensure you have a delicious chicken dinner to enjoy:
- Wash the chicken and pat it dry before marinating.
- Allow the chicken to rest after removing it from the oven. (To rest a chicken, take the chicken out of the oven and place it on a plate or cutting board. Let the chicken “rest” on the cutting board or plate for 10-30 minutes).
- Use a thermometer to ensure the chicken has reached a safe cooking temperature.
