Savory Keto Pumpkin Rolls
I LOVE keto dinner rolls and keto buns. I make them several times per week and I always have them on hand. My kiddos even love them. I had this idea about making them with a hint of fall in them, but without them being sweet. And guess what? BAM! These were born!
I really do love pumpkin and mostly when we think of pumpkin we think of sweet treats. These keto pumpkin rolls are definitely a game changer because you get that deep, savory flavor with a suprise twist of pumpkin!
Are These Keto Pumpkin Rolls Sweet?
No they are not. They have a hint of pumpkin, but with the savory spices in this recipe, you are met with fall flavors without the sweetness of pumpkin. If you WANTED them a bit sweeter, you can add a bit more pumpkin and a splash of sweetener.
But on their own, they are a delightful, savory dinner roll.
Can I Add Other Spices?
You definiely can! Have fun and play around with them. As I mentioned above, you can keep the savory flavor or you can swap out the spices and go for more of a sweet flavor. Maybe a little cinnamon or pumpkin spice?
Hmmm… Now the ideas are floating around in my head and I may have to create a sweet keto pumpkin roll!
What to Serve Keto Pumpkin Rolls With
These keto pumpkin rolls go with absolutely anything. My favorite way to eat them is simply as a side dish for my dinner. I have been known to eat them as a snack with some cream cheese. And let me tell you….. YUMM!!
I’ve seen my kids simply grab one and eat it whole and plain. Yep. Flavor for days!
How to Store Keto Pumpkin Rolls
I prefer to store these in an airtight container in the frige. I have been known to just leave them out on the counter when I know they will get eaten within the first 24 hours. Which, let’s be honest, ALWAYS happens in my house given I have 5 kids, 4 of whom are teenagers. Nothing is off limits for their 3am snacks.
How to Make Savory Keto Pumpkin Rolls

Add cream cheese and Mozzarella cheese to a microwave safe bowl. Heat for 30 second intervals until combined and smooth. Mixing is optional, but recommended.
Add the remaining ingredients into a medium mixing bowl. Place the cheese dough into the mixing bowl with the remaining ingredients and beat until well combined.
Wet your hands to keep the dough from sticking. Form the dough into 9 evenly sized balls.
Gently flatten the balls of dough with your hands to form the shape of rolls or keep them tall for fluffier rolls.
