Ok, back to a delicious drink that will knock the Starbucks pumpkin spice frappuccino out of game.
As I write this in September, we are seeing pumpkin everything. Why not indulge in some pumpkin coffee as well?

I am not a big coffee drinker. In fact, I had my first real coffee when I was in my 30s.
Perhaps it wasn’t considered a real coffee, though, because it was a mocha frappuccino from Starbucks. This was back in the day, BEFORE my keto journey. So full whipped cream and all!
I remember thinking why in the world had I never discovered this amazing drink before? And then came pumpkin season and BAM! A whole new level of flavored coffees popped out of nowhere.
But now? I have to be considerate of carbs due to my blood sugar so Starbucks is off limits. I mean, a black coffee or something like that – sure. But not something like this!

Are Pumpkins Keto?
They certainly are! 1 cup of pumpkin has 9 grams of net carbs.
1 cup of pumpkin puree has about 12 grams of net carbs.
To put it in perspective, this delicious low carb pumpkin spice frappuccino only uses 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree.

Do I Need to Use Hot Coffee
No, you certainly don’t! I’m not sure that I’d use day old stale coffee, but using cold coffee would be just fine. ‘
How To Make a Keto Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino
It is SUPER simple! You just combine all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until you get the desired consistency.
I would suggest starting out with fewer vs more ice cubes because you can always add more but if it gets TOO thick, you can’t drink it.
This is what it should look like in your blender!

Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino
Ingredients
- 4 ounces coffee already made, not beans or grounds
- 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin purree
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10 drops liquid stevia
- 1 cup approximately ice
- Optional Whipped Cream
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for about 30 seconds.
- I would start with less ice rather than more because you can always add more ice. If you put too much in, you can always add a bit more coffee and heavy whipping cream.
- Serve cold with optional whipped cream
