Pretty simple, right?

Health Benefits of Hemp Seeds

According to Healthline, Hemp Seeds are loaded with health benefits[1]:

  1. They are rich in both omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, as well as high in vitamin E and other minerals.
  2. Hemp seeds may reduce the risk of heart disease and also reduce dry skin (hello dry skin on my face…..)
  3. They are a great source of plant proteins!
  4. Lastly, hemp seeds may reduce PMS symptoms (I’m all over that!) and may aid digestion.

All in all, some pretty awesome little seeds.

Do These Paleo Brownies Taste Nutty or Chocolatey?

Most definitely chocolatey! You get all the health benefits of the hemp hearts and all the flavor from the chocolate!

And if you are a chocolate lover like I am, then be sure to make up a batch of these delicious Paleo Chocolate Muffins!

Do I Have to Grind the Hemp Hearts?

I have many recipes where I use the whole hemp hearts (ex, dairy-free crispy chips) but in the case of brownies, yes you do what to send them through the blender quick.

I don’t know about you, but I certainly don’t want to feel anything crunchy in my brownies. Unless, of course, they are macadamia nut brownies!

So just pop them in the blender quick and you’ll be good to go!

Hemp Brownie Toppings

Low carb, Paleo ice cream for the win! There is almost nothing better than a warm brownie topped with ice cream.

You could also drizzle some paleo chocolate or throw some berries on there.

So many options!

How to Store Paleo Brownies

As with most baked goods, you will want to store these fudgy paleo brownies in an airtight container and in the refrigerator.

Now, that assumes that you have leftovers – which is doubtful!
