Tips for Making Keto Pizza Roll Ups
Do Not Premake the Dough
The dough is most flexible immediately after you make it, so it’s best to make it right when you are making the pizza rolls. It makes it much easier!
Avoid Slicing them Too Thick
Avoid slicing the rolls too thick to make cooking easier. Thick sliced rolls might results in undercooked dough.
Go Easy on the Cheese
If you don’t enjoy a cheese overload, be sure not to add too much extra cheese in your filling ingredients Don’t forget that the dough is made from cheese so it’s easy as for the cheese to overwhelm the roll if you add too much more.
Do Not Overcook
Make sure and watch the clock closely or set a timer to make sure that you don’t overcook the rolls. Overcooking can burn it or dry them out.
Pair it With Great Dipping Sauces
These pizza rolls are great with a good dipping sauce. Here are some of my favorites:
Marinara / Pizza Sauce
You need to be careful with store bought marinara sauces. This keto friendly pizza sauce is a perfect, delicious dipping sauce that will keep your carbs in check!
Ranch
Pepperoni pizza and ranch are a great combination! Just make sure to check out the nutrition information and stick to a low carb ranch sauce.
