Keto Garlic Beef Tenderloin
My mom was visiting last week and I wanted to make a nice tenderloin for her! She flew into town from Wisconsin to watch my doggies so my family could go on a vacation!
I’m not a huge red meat eater, but I would say I have it once a week in some form or another. But in actual steak form, it is rare.
I wanted a tender steak because there is nothing I hate more than a steak I can’t chew! Enter – Beef Tenderloin!
I know it is pricey, but it is so worth it. We have beef tenderloin a few times a year and that is it!

What to pair this keto beef tenderloin with
I served this over my delicious keto lemon pepper cauliflower rice risotto with a side of steamed broccoli!
The risotto flavor really complimented the unique flavors of this keto garlic beef tenderloin perfectly.
Another option is this cheesy spinach cheese bake! SO much deliciousness!
How about serving it on a waffle? WHAT? Check out this Keto Philly Cheesesteak served over waffles. Now that is my kind of steak!
Kitchen Essentials
Meat Thermometer – Some people like to use thermometers to make sure their meat is cooked precisely the way they want! We do on occasion, but not every time!
Aluminum Foil – I don’t go crazy on high priced brands. Reynolds just does fine for me!
Baking Sheet – The best way to cook steaks in the oven is on a baking sheet!

Garlic!!!
Garlic is one of my favorite spices! And not just for the taste!
A few fun facts:
It contains components with medicinal properties. WHAT?? And it is also known to be able to help with sickness and the common cold.
It can also reduce blood pressure just might lower the risk of heart disease and help prevent Alzheimer’s.
Here’s a big reason that I like garlic and that is that may help detoxify the body of heavy metals.
And ladies – garlic has also been shown to help with bone health in women. As I get older, I definitely could use this!
So don’t be shy and load up the top with some garlic!

Tip for How to Cook Keto Beef Tenderloin
When people cook steaks in the oven (we are normally grill people, but we were out of Traeger pellets), they tend to overcook the meat.
When you take it out of the oven, it continues to cook for a few minutes. So, in my experience, it is best to take it out just before it is at your desired state.
For example, I like my steaks cooked solid medium. So I take it out just as it enters the questionable medium state and let it sit for 5 minutes and then it perfects itself!
