Keto Coffee Cake
If you are anything like me, you love to make a delicious keto brunch style recipe on the weekend. I am a creature of habit during the week, but I love to make something fun on the weekends.
This particular weekend it was keto coffee cake. Delicious, fluffy, moist coffee cake. And when I say fluffy and moist, I most certainly mean fluffy and moist.
I could sit here and just eat the cake part or just eat the crumble part. But honestly, the homerun is when you put them together.
My kids absolutely love it all, but especially the crumble.
How to Make Keto Coffee Cake
Alright, let’s get to how to make this delicious keto coffee cake!
First, you will want to preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ingredients for the cake, and blend until smooth.
Layer the batter evenly into a well-greased 9×9 baking dish.
In another bowl, combine the ingredients for the crumb topping, and blend with a fork until crumbly.
Sprinkle the crumb topping over the cake batter in the baking dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Is There a Paleo Option?
Not for this particular keto coffee cake, but I do have another very popular low carb coffee cake that is also Paleo. It is similar and also has a delightful crumble and sauce.

Is This Keto Coffee Cake the Same as a Keto Crumb Cake?
Great question! I’ve always wondered what the difference was between a coffee cake and a crumb cake as I’ve usually used them interchangeably in terms of what I call them.
Turns out a crumble cake is mostly the crumble part and a coffee cake is mostly the cake part. Super easy distinction.
So, yes, this is a keto coffee cake vs a keto crumble cake. But it is the best of both worlds with a crumble topping!
Can I Make This Ahead of Time?
You sure can. This keto coffee cake tastes beautifully warmed up. You can use a microwave to easily warm it up quickly.
When I make it ahead of time, I will go ahead and bake it and then just warm it up rather than making it ahead and not baking it.
How to Store Keto Coffee Cake
This will stay freshest if you store the coffee cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
It is difficult for us to get any leftover when I make this, but I also have a ton of kiddos and a hubby who enjoys my baking!
Does Coffee Cake Have Coffee in it?
No, coffee cake does not normally have coffee in it. This delicious morning cake gets its name from the fact that one might normally eat this cake WITH their morning coffee.
