Curious about the Keto egg fast? Wondering what an ACTUAL meal plan of egg fast recipes looks like? Don’t miss this behind-the-scenes look at my 4 day egg fast!
My Keto Egg Fast Recipes
If you’ve been considering a Keto egg fast, you’re most likely wondering what on earth you’ll actually be eating. Is it just eggs? THE WHOLE TIME?!
Yes… and no. Yes, because you will eat eggs with every single meal. But no, because it isn’t “just eggs.” In fact, it’s pretty incredible what you can create with eggs and a few simple ingredients!
For a few of these meals, I completely forgot that I was even eating eggs. No joke.
Variety is the spice of life, and variety is the key to not absolutely losing your mind on the egg fast. At least that’s how I approached it. So below, I’ll be sharing with you the Keto egg fast recipes I created to not go crazy from egg boredom.
But first, if you haven’t read about my journey and experience with the egg fast diet, I recommend starting with my post Surviving the Keto Egg Fast.
I share the full details of my experience, including the pros, cons, and whether or not I thought it was worth it. I also go into the background of the egg fast diet, why it works, what to expect, and a few modifications I made. Be sure to check it out!
Alright, now that you’re thoroughly educated, let’s get to the good stuff: the Keto egg fast recipes!
Now I’m going to preface you with this – the recipe pictures below are NOT my normal high quality level of photography! So no judging.
When I create recipes for this blog, I try to be very thoughtful and creative with my photography. But the egg fast was every meal for 4 days in a row. It’s not realistic to think that every meal you eat for 4 days in a row is going to be beautiful and well-plated and well lit, you know?
I wanted this to be a real post, with real food, and real food pictures!
Perhaps in the future I’ll remake them pro-style, but for now – you get to see my REAL meals! Think of it as a little behind-the-scenes adventure…

Egg Fast Approved Souffles
When I was planning out my Keto egg fast recipes, I knew I had to get a little fancy with at least one of my creations. Enter: the egg fast souffle.
A delicious custard layer with a light and fluffy topping… I may just have to make this one even when I’m not on the egg fast!
Ingredients
custard
3 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup water
1 egg
3 egg yolks (set aside egg whites for topping)
3-5 drops of caramel liquid stevia
1 teaspoon psyllium husk
topping
3 egg whites
3-5 drops of caramel liquid stevia
pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Add water and cream cheese to saucepan and heat over low heat. Stir continually until cream cheese is mostly melted (it is ok if there are small chunks).
- Add egg yolks and egg to a bowl and beat with a fork.
- Temper egg yolks and add back to the saucepan along with stevia
- Heat over medium/low heat for 15 minutes, stirring often.
- It will thicken greatly. Once it is thick and starting to form a glob, you are done.
- Meanwhile, beat egg whites and stevia until hard peaks form.
- Spray ramekins or mini cast iron pans with zero carb spray. It made 3 for me.
- Add custard evenly and then add topping. You will have a lot of the topping leftover and that is fine. We don’t need to be exact here.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake for 20 minutes.
