Add chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and microwave for another 15-30 seconds. Repeat until melted. Chocolate can also be melted on the stove over low heat in a saucepan. Be careful not to burn it.
(You can also melt it over the stove if you'd prefer. That is generally how I do it)
Add almond butter, melted chocolate, vanilla and mashed banana to a medium bowl. Mix well.
Combine chocolate and almond butter mixture and mix well. Add to baking dish.
Freeze until firm ( about 2 hours). Slice and enjoy.
