Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 6 ounces mozzarella cheese cut into two vertical strips from a block
  • Optional seasonings: garlic powder onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ricotta, and any optional seasonings. Knead until just mixed.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet. Press a trench down the center.
  • Place the mozzarella cheese into the trench and fold the meat over it, reshaping it into a loaf.
  • Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked.
