Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Optional Seasonings

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a pie pan to prevent sticking.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease if necessary.
  • Add optional seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or salt and pepper, to the cooked beef for additional flavor.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy whipping cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
  • Spread the cooked ground beef evenly into the greased pie pan. Pour the egg mixture over the beef, ensuring it fills the pan evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the egg mixture.
  • Bake the meat pie for 45–50 minutes, or until the egg mixture is fully set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let the meat pie cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
