Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground chicken or turkey
  • 8 slices deli salami
  • 8 slices deli pepperoni
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Divide the ground chicken into two equal portions. Place one portion onto a sheet of parchment paper and flatten it into a circle about 1/4 inch thick.
  • On one half of the chicken circle, layer two slices of mozzarella cheese, four slices of pepperoni, and four slices of salami.
  • Using the parchment paper for support, fold the empty half of the chicken circle over the filling to create a calzone shape. Pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  • Spread the grated parmesan cheese onto a plate. Carefully coat both sides of the calzone with the parmesan cheese.
  • Transfer the calzone to the prepared baking sheet. Repeat the process with the remaining chicken and fillings to make a second calzone.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the calzones are cooked through and golden brown. For an extra crispy texture, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end of cooking.
  • Serve hot and enjoy the savory, cheesy goodness of these carnivore-friendly calzones!
