How to Make Homemade Butter (5 Flavors)

Equipment

  • [Butter Mold]
  • [High Speed Blender]
  • [Fine Mesh Strainer]

Materials

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • ingredients for flavors are above in post

Instructions

  • Add heavy whipping cream to your high powered blender.  Blend for about 6 minutes, giving it a few seconds rest every minute or two while scraping down the sides of the blender.
  • Place a fine strainer over a bowl and empty contents of the blender into the strainer.
  • Using your hands, gather the butter and squeeze the remaining buttermilk out of it.  The butter will clump together in your hands.
  • Separate the butter into 5 equal parts.  Each part should be approximately 1/2 cup.  It might be a little more or a little less.
  • Refrigerate while waiting to be used below.
