Honey Garlic Salmon with Brussels Sprouts (Keto and Paleo Friendly)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound salmon cut into 4 filets
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ¼ cups raw honey use sugar free honey for keto
  • Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Steam the brussels sprouts until they are a crisp tender.
  • On the stove, add the olive oil to a large skillet over medium high heat.
  • Season the salmon with salt and pepper to taste, and place meat-side down into the heated oil in the skillet.
  • Sauté for 4 minutes, flip, and sauté another 2-3 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine the coconut aminos, honey, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
  • Add the brussels sprouts to the skillet with the salmon.
  • Pour the sauce on top.
  • Cover the skillet and sauté until the sauce has thickened and the brussels sprouts are tender.
