How to Store These Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Energy Balls
If you have any leftover Shakeology protein balls, or if you are making a double or triple batch, you are probably looking for the best way to store them so that they last as long as possible with the best taste!
At Room Temperature
You can store these energy balls in an airtight container at room temperature for a day or two. Probably longer, but I am not a fan of storing things at room temperature. I like to make sure that the balls do not touch each other so that they don’t stick together, which can easily happen at room temperature.
In the Refrigerator
Another great way to store these keto protein balls is in the fridge! Place them in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
In The Freezer
Frozen keto energy balls are great! They store longer (up to 2 months), they are easy to grab and go with, and they taste amazing!
Simply place the energy balls on a baking sheet an inch or two from the other balls and freeze. Once frozen, remove them from the freezer and place them in an airtight, freezer-safe, storage container.
